About
Psychology, sociology and economics are taught apart. The problems fellows meet in life are not.
Lakshy is an intensive residential programme for young scholars. Happiness, inequality, conflict, education and livelihood involve the person, the family, institutions and nature at once. Fellows study those subjects together through Jeevan Vidya–Sah-Astitva.
SHAPE supports the fellowship in the Education and Sanskar domain. Academic training alone often does not touch the assumptions that shape behaviour and social systems. This year was built to examine that gap in daily living, not only in class.

01 / Programme
The documented cycle ran about thirteen hours a day: roughly 1,440 hours of research and 1,680 hours of practical work.
Knowledge is meant to show in conduct.
02 / Research
Jeevan Vidya–Sah-Astitva is the shared frame.
Psychology looks at thought, emotion and relationship.
Sociology looks at family, trust and justice.
Economics looks at production, livelihood and need.
03 / Practice
Fellows take part in agriculture, equipment, harvest and meetings with families.
The point is not to replace study with labour.
It is to see how both sit in one day.
04 / Leadership
Leadership here is trust, responsibility and humane decisions in a residential group, not a post on an organisation chart.
